Intuit’s sixth annual QuickBooks Connect conference was a tangible example of delivering on their bold mission to Power Prosperity. It brought together thousands of business owners, accountants, and solution providers for three days under one roof.
The main stage provided innovation from business leaders like Jennifer Hyman, founder of Rent the Runway, inspiration from actor-turned-venture-capitalist Ashton Kutcher, and automation from Intuit’s leaders showcasing the newest insights coming soon to QuickBooks Online.
The smaller stages were wildly popular with a variety of business topics, including three where we took the stage: “Power Panel on Advisory Services”, our own session “The DNA of a CAS Firm“, and workshop facilitator at “Automate Your Client Onboarding”. It was the perfect time and place to announce the launch of our new venture, the Entrepreneurial Advisory Institute.
The exhibit hall was buzzing with ideas and solutions (like Aero Workflow) and the hallway was a temporary home for the popular Cloud Accounting Podcast, to which we were invited as a guest on the segment called “The Legends Panel”.
Best of all were the many moments of one-on-one connections forged and strengthened. We take those home with us and draw on them throughout the year as a source of inspiration and support in our constant quest to improve our clients’ businesses in this ever-changing landscape of technology and process.
